Internet Explorer 8 Now Officially Becomes the Most Used Browser Worldwide iWonder $100 Tablet Powered by Marvell iWonder $100 Tablet Powered by Marvell[MWC 2010 Mobile Focus] Foxconn, a powerful Taiwanese contract manufacturer, is set to debut a $100 Android tablet in China. Of course, $100 is incredibly cheap and at that price you can’t expect to have a build quality comparable to an iPad: The device is made of cheap plastic, and the 800x600 (I’m eyeballing here) display is a little fuzzy, but it runs Android apps. I was not able to test the web browsing because there was no internet connection, so I would stay cautious until I can actually see at least what browsing looks like. That said, for $100, it’s so cheap that some would just buy one to see how it’s like. The Tablet was demonstrated by Marvell, the company behind the Tablet’s processor. My take is that if someone can turn this into a fancy remote, I might pay for that. (Via UberGizmo, the Gadgets News Blog.)

Not posting for so many days is not something I really intended to do, but something I could not really help.
I give priority to becoming a web-content author over making a blog for myself. That is the way I think! To me, that means posting over the Internet regularly, be it my blog or another.

In a technological world in which all manner of gadgets can run apps and connect to the internet it wasn’t until late 2009 that someone came out with a printer capable of such—HP did it with their Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-in-One Printer.
This printer is cool enough that we are willing to forgive HP’s gratuitous use of the word “smart” in the name.
Key to the TouchSmart is the 4.3-inch touchscreen at the front of the printer. It is from there that you can access the internet via iPhone-like apps. Some of our favorites:

Google Maps – Type in an address and then print out a map of the surrounding area. Communicating with other people on the Internet is a snap with Gmail and Talk, and collaboration is simple with Calendar, Docs, and Sites. Each of these apps are fully functioning programs that allow you to do your work, such as e-mail and word processing, from any Web browser, instead of relying on your computer’s other installed software. There are different editions of the whole Google Apps package, depending on your organization and needs. These include:• Team Edition: If you already have a school or work e-mail address, this edition adds Calendar, Docs, Talk, and Sites to the mix.
